Words and our reaction to them are a Powerful indication of who we are and what we’re here to do.
In a conversation with a dear friend I commented that someone close to me was struggling terribly and I felt awful that I couldn’t help.
She responded that I need to stop looking for people to rescue. I felt judged by the word “rescue”.
In my efforts to defend my position so that she wouldn’t think poorly of me (all inside my chattering mind of course) The obvious became clear ~ I judged me at being “wrong” for the rescue. When in fact it wasn’t a “rescue” at all. Of course not.
The Universe, Spirit, GOD has been present, guiding me since childhood (or sooner) to be of Service. I am a Healer, a Coach, a Teacher, a Senior Psych Tech, a Nurse, a Psychologist, a Sociologist, a Vet … and so many avenues of Service I have yet to discover and the list goes on.
That’s what feeds my spirit. When I witness suffering I see and feel the world as off balance. I help people because I can … because there’s a need.
I have skills and abilities that other people don’t have and I use them to help people who are in need.
I do see how baffled and suspicious people are because in their eyes I have NO reason to help. And I’ve always been just as baffled about why they aren’t helping.
So, have you felt plugged in by someone judging you?
Truth … We are such beautiful mirrors for each other.
Did you see that I actually judged myself but I was way to close to see it or know it?
Do you imagine the People in your life are not there by accident. Or do they teach you something you really wanted to learn if you just slow down enough to ponder what it might be? Hmmmm Maybe so, maybe so. So what word plugs you in and what word did you actually mean to be hearing instead? (Comment Below)
